Figure Drawing through January

Hello everyone, I've got the confirmed schedule for Figure Drawing at Milepost 5 for November through January. With the Holidays, and certain managerial shakeups at Milepost 5, I've decided to scale back to just one meeting a month for this quarter. I'm looking to work with some extra facilitators to provide figure drawing sessions every week starting in February though, so we'll be able to make up for lost time!

Here are the dates:
November 19th,
December 3rd,
January 21st

all mondays. 7-9PM. Fee is $5. Sessions take place in the Chapel Theater at 850 NE 81st Ave in Milepost 5.

I'll be away from the holidays from December 15th - January 15th, but will still be able to answer questions by email. dhenderson@dana-illustration.com

Because of conflicting events in the theater space, figure drawing will not be taking place every 2nd and 4th monday in the future. I'll be figuring out the schedule as we go along, but here are the scheduled days for the next 2 months:

Monday, October 1st

Monday, October 15th

Time will still be 7-9pm, and will continue taking place in the Chapel Theater space off of Oregon street in Milepost 5 (850 NE 81st Ave). Cost will continue to be $5.

Some people have asked whether there are drawing horses or easels available; unfortunately we can only provide the model and seating at the moment, but I'll be looking into getting equipment donated in the next months.

Our next drawing session will take place in the Kitchen Dances restaurant theatre space off Oregon St at 850 NE 81st Ave. 7-9 pm, Monday August 27th. $5. Hope to see you there.

Next Figure Drawing session will be on Monday August 13th, 7-9PM. $5. We have access to the theater space now, so we will not be meeting in the community room. The theater can be reached through the newly opened restaurant "Kitchen Dances" on Oregon Street, or down the hallway past the Denizen gallery near 82nd.

Next session is Monday July 23rd, 7-9pm in the MP5 community room. Address is 850 NE 81st Avenue; community room is through the gallery entrance, down the hallway, last door on the left.

It looks like we'll be able to start meeting in the larger and much more comfortable theater space next door starting next month. If we can get larger groups in the new space, I'll start extending sessions to 3 hours. I'll post more details when I have them.

To allow participants a chance to attend the 6:00 grant-writing seminar next door, I'm pushing figure drawing back half an hour. Figure Drawing will be running from 7:30-9:30pm tonight.
